WDCD Live Amsterdam 2024

FRIDAY, 5 JULY

Muziekgebouw

The 12th edition of WDCD Live in Amsterdam took place at the beautiful Muziekgebouw and featured an immersive programme of talks and workshops on design and climate justice. Together we explored how creative activism can be a powerful tool for disruption—and learned from the changemakers who are paving the way.

A PROGRAMME THAT PACKS A PUNCH

WDCD Live is a hub to connect, collaborate and grow your own impact. With a main stage programme that features talks by creative visionaries like Natsai Audrey Chieza, Edel Rodriguez, and Afaina de Jong, breakout sessions turning vision into action, plus a special exhibition celebrating the winners of the Redesign Everything Challenge.

Festival Themes

Changing the course of the climate crisis means saving all that we can, while building a new way of life that is regenerative and restorative by design. It also means telling better stories about the world than those who are destroying it, and imagining a future that is more sustainable, equitable and beautiful than the past. During the festival, we explored what this might look like in practice through the lens of three core themes.
