Sioduhi is a designer, creative director and founder of Sioduhi Studio. His work investigates the relationships between fashion, territory and Amazonian indigenous knowledge, developing textile pigments from cassava waste and engaging in dialogue with high craftsmanship traditions such as tucum fiber from the Alto Rio Negro Indigenous Territory. Working from a framework of indigenous futurism, he proposes new narratives to imagine and shape contemporary fashion.

“Imagining new paths for design, beyond the conventional, is today urgent — especially when we recognize the millennia-old knowledge of the indigenous peoples who have inhabited this continent since before colonization.”
