Freitag gives animators ‘tarp blanche’Animation studios produce visual interpretation of the Freitag story

The brothers Daniel and Marcus Freitag have been telling their story, from truck to bag, since 1993. They never get tired of it, although Daniel Freitag decided to give a more behind-the-scenes insight in his talk at WDCD Live Amsterdam 2018, highlighting the underlying company philosophy.

In an attempt to shed some new light on the story of truck tarpaulins made into bags, the Freitag brothers decided to give several animation studio’s ‘tarp blanche’ to make the story visual. They all took different angles, and we were especially impressed by the contribution of Neil Stubbings, an award-winning Swiss/British motion director living in Zurich.
