TipasType

Founded in 2016 by Daphne Martínez (Mexico) and Sandra García (Colombia), TipasType is the first solely women-owned type foundry in Latin America.

On top of specialising in custom and retail fonts development, TipasType creates space to broaden knowledge about typography and promote their peers’ work.

As part of their goals to educate the community, they have published a book, Elementype, A Practical Guide to Typographic Use, where they cover essential knowledge on the most impactful ways to use typography.
