One of his current projects is the 9/11 Memorial and Museum in New York. Everybody knows where they were on that fateful day when the world changed forever. Barton’s interactive exhibition invites people all over the world to submit and share their 9/11 story, thus adding it to the exhibition. This collaborative storytelling project is history as told by ordinary citizens, not by historians or curators.
