PresentED BY:

Chinampa Veneta y What Design Can Do México GNP

In this edition of What Design Can Do México GNP 2025, we explore natural, ancestral, and artificial intelligences through a collective exercise in critical thinking. Inspired by the Mexican Pavilion project at the Venice Biennale which places chinampas at the center of the conversation about the future and territory this session invites participants to take a stand for or against a controversial motion and, from their convictions, argue to persuade others.

The format aims to open new perspectives, question the “official,” and explore how global narratives interact (or clash) with local realities. It is an opportunity to collectively imagine how design can be nourished by ancestral and contemporary knowledge to transform our present.
