- Wednesday, 4 June – 09:45-12:00 (Arrival 09:30)
- Location: WDCD Office
- With: Arthur Steiner – Co-founder at New Silk Roads
How do you fund your creative practice while staying true to your values? In this hands-on masterclass, digital strategist and curator Arthur Steiner shares practical insights on how creative entrepreneurs can attract funding and build models for long-term, values-driven impact.
Drawing on years of experience in impact-driven grantmaking, digital innovation, and the arts, Arthur will unpack different fundraising techniques and explore how to align your mission with the goals of funders. You’ll learn about different funding options – such as private foundations, public donors, and philanthropic organisations – how to identify the best funding options for your work, and how to engage the right partners to help you grow.
The session includes space for conversation and exchange, and a chance to connect with winners of the WDCD Accelerator — a cohort of creative changemakers navigating similar challenges.
What you’ll learn:
- The landscape of funding for impact-driven creatives
- How to approach funders with clarity and confidence
- Insights into building sustainable models for creative work
